School for Creative Startups help creative people build startups by offering interactive, accessible courses that deliver all the necessary know how to set up their business.
School for Creative Startups offer a variety of educational and support programmes and are now calling for applications from people in Kent who want to start a business in the following areas:
Broadcast Media, Communications, Craft, Culinary Arts, Design, Digital, Fashion, Fine Art, Music or Performing Arts.
All programmes are designed by creative entrepreneurs to teach and empower those with existing creative businesses, as well as those who dream of turning their part-time hobbies, market-stall businesses or freelance work into a full-time way of life.
The part-time programmes run from September to May, providing 13 full days of training and activities, one-to-one staff support, membership to an online community, relevant information, and video material. You’ll also receive peer support from your network of classmates.
The course ends in May with the Makegood Festival, where selected students create their own pop-up shops for press, buyers, investors, VIPS and the public at large.
Deadline: 15 September, however the 100 spaces will be filled on a rolling admission basis, so may be filled before the deadline.
