Design-Nation activities are carried out through two websites:
www.designnation.co.uk (showcase website promoting 183 of the most talented designers in the UK)
www.thedesigntrust.co.uk (educational website including the Business Start-Up Guide for Designers)
Design-Nation currently consists of 183 designers in 5 categories (ceramics & glass, furniture, interior/exterior design & products, silver gold metalwork & jewellery, and textiles & fashion accessories). It includes work by Ron Arad, Fred Baier, Thomas Heatherwick, David Mellor, Wendy Ramshaw, Michael Sodeau and Helen Yardley, but also contains work by many more recent graduates. The aim is to build Design-Nation into an important resource for anyone wishing to buy, source or commission good design, a resource that reflects the generations of talented designers that have emerged in this country.

Selection is based on four criteria.
