The Drapers' Company of the City of London
Founded over 600 years ago, the Drapers' Company from the first not only regulated the woollen cloth trade, from which it took its name, in the City of London, but it was also a benevolent institution helping those who fell into distress.Today the trading role has ceased and the principal role of the Company is the administration of the many Charitable Trusts which have been left in its care over the centuries. These Trusts support the elderly, the poor and the education and well being of young people.

The Haberdashers Company

The Company was founded in the 14th Century and is one of the 'Great Twelve' Livery Companies of the City of London. Besides being closely involved with its eight schools, it has a strong tradition of support for charitable causes. Help has been provided from the Thomas Arno Bequest, one of whose aims is to help young British people start their own businesses.

The Worshipful Company of Pewterers
Founded in 1348, The Worshipful Company of Pewterers continues to play an active role in support of the pewter trade and, in particular the encouragement of new designs in the pewter industry. Its annual Pewter Live competition attracts entries from selected colleges and universities throughout the UK and many of the winning student designs are subsequently manufactured and sold through retail outlets.
The Weavers' Company
A City of London Livery Company, established in 1155, the Company aims today, through its Textile Education Fund, to build on nearly nine centuries of involvement with woven textiles by promoting and encouraging textile education through the provision of scholarships and the assistance of textile educational establishments, as well as recognising and rewarding achievement and merit at all levels of occupation in the British textile industry.
